The hat is worked in continuous rounds. Don’t join rounds at the end. You may want to use a marker to indicate the beginning of the rounds. All stitches are worked in both loops.

Rnd 3: (1sc, inc 2) x 3 (9st)

Rnd 4: 9sc (9st)

Rnd 1: join with 1sc in 1 of the st in the tip of the hat, 5sc (6st)

Rnd 2: 6sc (6st)

– Close and weave in the ends.
