These guys have been off the hook for some time now but only now they have met their human counterparts and I can finally show them to you!!! =D
This was a project made in partnership with Sardinha de Papel, a local community store. The band is the spanish band Rarefolk!
You already know Oscar, the bass player! He was my first subject of amigurumification! Well, he was feeling lonely and asked me to amigurumify the rest of the band! =D
I said yes to the challenge and the first victim was Rafael, the drummer!
It was so much fun to make him and his drum set! =D
I really wanted to make his drums justice so I tried to add as much detail as I could! =D
I tried to replicate all his drums and cymbals and I think it turned out really cool! =D

I have yet to find a drum kit that rivals yours. nicely done! I know you don’t have a pattern yet, but I wanted to just ask a question as I try to make one myself. For the base drum, are the silver rings just a slip stich all the way around? Also, how did you reinforce the base drum so it would keep the crisp edges? cardboard? I appreciate any help you can give me. 🙂 Jeri

Yes, the silver rings are slip stitches all around the drum. To reinforce the base drum I used the cardboard tube that is left over when you use up a roll of packing tape.
