In October I was invited to participate in the Second World Amigurumi Exhibition by RESOBOX, which was a exciting and intimidating at the same time! =D
This year the artists must make at least one piece that represents their country in some way. I made a bush basil with a red carnation, and a sardine, both traditional symbols of the Popular Saints Festivities that take hold of Portugal in the summer! =D
Today I went to the post office to send them on their way! I felt anxtious, excited and a little sad to let them go…
I hope they make success at the exhibition and that they get adopted by a loving amigurumi fan! ^^
The exhibition is going to take place at the RESOBOX Gallery in Long Island City, between the 11th of December and the 28th of February. If you can go say hello to these guys for me! ^^
I was hoping there was a pattern for the bush basil and red carnation. I’m new and I love it.
Hi Kim,
Thank you! ^^
The pattern isn’t ready yet. I’ll make sure to let you know when it’s available! =)
